Our Counselling Team

Tatjana Hildebrandt has been Professor of Plant Metabolism Biochemistry and a member of the CEPLAS Cluster of Excellence since summer 2022. As Deputy Equal Opportunities Officer, she is part of the Steering Committee.

Karsten Klopffleisch has been a research fellow at the Institute of Genetics since 2012. The opportunity to support people in discriminatory situations and take action against injustice motivates him to provide advice and support to those affected.

Birgit Kernebeck has been employed at the UoC since 1991 as a biological-technical assistant at the Institute of Plant Sciences. She is particularly keen to provide advice and support to employees with problems relating to discrimination. Appreciative treatment in everyday working life is important to her.

Babis Mantziaris has been working as a scientific coordinator since 2022. Babis is an accredited MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) first aider and is committed to ensuring that all people are treated equally, regardless of their positioning.
