Overview
The Department of Biology consists of three research institutes (Genetics, Plant Sciences and Zoology), as well as the associated Institute of Biochemistry.
In addition, two Clusters of Excellence and various structured programs of the German Research Foundation (DFG) are anchored in the Department of Biology.
