Reservation

To reserve a room in the Biozentrum or CoMB, please proceed as follows:

1. First, check the relevant occupancy schedule to see if the room is available at your desired time.
2. Then, inquire about the availability of the room by emailing one of the responsible room managers.

Note: The list of room managers also includes contact information for a few rooms that are not listed in KLIPS 2 and whose availability therefore cannot be viewed in advance.

Prioritization of room allocation

With the start of the 2025/26 winter semester, a new policy for reserving lecture halls and seminar rooms in the Biozentrum and CoMB was agreed upon by the institutes (IfP, IfZ, IfG) and the Department of Biology. This policy prioritizes the allocation of lecture halls and seminar rooms in the Biozentrum and CoMB.

To reserve a room for consideration in the prioritization process for lecture hall and seminar room allocation in the Biozentrum and CoMB, please note the following:

• The respective institutes (IfP, IfZ, IfG) and the Department of Biology are responsible for the allocation of teaching spaces.
• Departmental/institute bookings must be made by July 15th for the winter semester and by February 3rd for the summer semester of each year to be considered for priority. Room management remains the responsibility of the institutes and the department.
• Inquiries regarding room reservations should be directed to the respective room managers.
