Dear Bachelor students,
Are you interested in computational methods, simulations and data analysis, and you would like to expand your skills within your field of natural sciences? Then the Computational Sciences master program at the University of Cologne might be exactly what you are looking for!
Join us for an info event on 12 May, 16:00-17:00h, in the Lecture Hall 3 of the Physics main building 321 (Zülpicher Str. 77, 50931).
You will learn everything you need to know about the Computational Sciences master program and the various Specialization Areas that are part of the curriculum:
- Computational Astro- and Space Physics
- Computational Biology
- Earth System Sciences
- Theoretical Chemistry
- Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
The Master program in Computational Sciences will directly incorporate research activities with computational methods in the natural sciences. Within this interdisciplinary, research-oriented Master program, students from different scientific backgrounds will obtain the skills required for modern, computational research methods in numerous scientific fields. Students will be trained equally well in simulation science, computer science and applied mathematics as well as their selected area of specialization.
The study program starts every winter term.
Application opens beginning of June and the deadline is 15 July!
There will be opportunities for you to meet speakers, lecturers and current master students from Computational Sciences and ask your questions directly at the info event in May.
